Direct Container Supply
Warranty and Condition Resolution Policy
This policy explains how Direct Container Supply handles product-condition questions, delivery concerns, and issue review after a container purchase. Containers are heavy steel products, and used or modified units are sold with condition limits that customers must review before ordering.
Condition-Based Product Sale
Each product is sold according to the product page, photos, description, category, SKU, and stated condition. Used containers are not sold as new products. Modified containers, cut down containers, office units, coffee shop units, and specialty storage units may vary in construction, finish, dimensions, and features.
What Is Generally Covered for Review
- A delivered product that is materially different from the item ordered.
- A missing major feature that was clearly listed on the product page or written order confirmation.
- Freight damage beyond the shown or described condition, when documented promptly.
- Delivery or placement issue caused by confirmed carrier handling, subject to review.
What Is Generally Not Covered
- Normal used-container cosmetic wear, including rust, dents, scratches, fading, previous markings, patch repairs, floor stains, floor wear, and door stiffness.
- Minor handling marks on new or one-trip containers.
- Customer site problems, access limitations, permit issues, HOA restrictions, landlord restrictions, or zoning problems.
- Moisture, condensation, or interior humidity caused by weather, site conditions, storage contents, ventilation, or customer use.
- Modifications, repairs, repainting, cutting, drilling, electrical work, shelving, or changes made after delivery by the customer or third parties.
- Business losses, delays, lost revenue, or indirect costs.
How to Report a Condition Issue
- Contact us promptly at info@directcontainersupply.com.
- Include order number, product name, SKU, delivery date, and delivery address.
- Provide clear photos from multiple angles, including full container views and close-ups of the concern.
- Do not modify, move, repair, paint, or alter the container before the issue is reviewed when possible.
- Allow reasonable time for review and follow-up questions.
Possible Resolutions
Depending on the issue, documentation, product condition, and delivery facts, a resolution may include clarification, replacement parts, repair support, partial credit, replacement unit, return authorization, or another written resolution. Not every issue qualifies for every remedy.
No Unstated Warranty
No warranty, guarantee, certification, cargo-worthy approval, weatherproof guarantee, code compliance, or fitness for a particular use applies unless it is clearly stated in writing for the specific product or order.
