Container Conditions
Container condition is one of the most important parts of buying a shipping container. Customers should review the product name, photos, description, price, and condition notes before ordering. The same size container can vary significantly depending on whether it is new, one-trip, used, modified, cut down, high cube, office-built, or specialty storage.
Common Condition Terms

Used Container Wear
Used containers may include dents, rust, scratches, fading, previous shipping line markings, decals, patch repairs, weld marks, floor stains, gouges, floor wear, door stiffness, older seals, and cosmetic differences. These conditions are common for used steel containers and should be expected unless the product page states otherwise.
Modified and Specialty Containers
Office containers, coffee shop containers, side access containers, tunnel containers, COSHH chemical stores, and other specialty units may include added doors, windows, vents, shelves, roll-up doors, partitioning, insulation, flooring, or electrical-related features depending on the unit. Customers should rely on the product photos and written description for the actual configuration.
Dimensions and Measurements
Container sizes are normally described by nominal length and type. Actual internal and external dimensions may vary because of manufacturer, modifications, cut down work, door style, interior lining, flooring, or repairs. If exact measurements are critical, contact us before ordering.
